Our client, a leader in the steel industry, is seeking a motivated Inside Sales Representative to drive growth in our assigned business accounts in Hammond IN.

Primary Duties and
Responsibilities:
Customer Focused Approach:
Identify and understand customer needs, tailoring solutions that create value, revenue, and profitability.
Establish strategic capabilities to gain a competitive advantage.
Maintain product knowledge and a deep understanding of customer requirements.
Interact directly with customers to provide status updates and fulfill service needs.
Drive for Results:
Develop and implement business plans and sales strategies for targeted accounts, achieving assigned sales goals.
Provide accurate, detailed information to internal and external partners.
Meet and exceed sales results, company goals, and customer satisfaction.
Demonstrate adaptability - work independently as well as a collaborative team member.
Collaboration:
Capture customer job specifications, maintaining updates within the Company's ERP system.
Oversee successful order fulfillment, collaborating with Production Planning, Warehousing, and Purchasing for on-time delivery.
Actively retrieve purchase orders from customer portals.
Enter customer orders, providing relevant information to internal and external parties.
Maintain accurate customer profile information.
Manage customer relationships with internal business partners for timely resolution of the order-to-cash process.
Position Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
1-2 years of Inside Sales experience required.
Manufacturing and Steel sales experience preferred.
Experience using ERP systems, with proficiency in PS Data and MIS preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
