Staff are responsible for working as a team member to maintain a positive and collaborative atmosphere in the residence.
This position is for weekend overnights and possibly some fill in on other shifts.
Responsible for answering the crisis line, conducting intakes and assessments, welcoming residents into shelter, providing materials for basic needs, supportive communication including problem solving and crisis management.
Staff must demonstrate an understanding of domestic violence and commitment to the mission and core values of Haven House.
Additionally, provide supervision and appropriate interventions as needed.
Document and maintain shift activities and track appropriate activities as needed for grants.
Carry out tasks such as vacuuming and cleaning to support operation of a 24 hour facility.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
